Ayesha 1st Birthday

Our third child, Humaira Ayesha was born on the 12th December 2007. She is the only girl in the family and this year is her first birthday. We celebrated her birthday on the 21st December 2008 at our place.

It was such a joyful party with many guests turning up. The food was prepared by Rizal and Kak Sena and I just contributed laksa as the additional menu. Their Pak Jang as usual was the key person for decoration with many windmills in the bottles and around the tables.

My Ex-Students' Wedding

Semalam - 14 December 2008: Cheme hadir ke majlis perkahwinan salah seorang bekas pelajar di Taman Melawati. Sejak akhir-akhir ni ramai anak murid yang kahwin & Cheme terima banyak jemputan. Selamat Pengantin Baru kepada Aizul dan Nazatul dan terima kasih atas jemputan.

Seronok apabila Cheme pergi majlis kahwin anak murid ni. Dapat jumpa semula dengan bekas pelajar. Sekarang mereka sudah jauh berbeza daripada mereka masa sekolah dahulu. Hmmm, tst saja la - sama seperti perkembangan Teknologi Maklumat. Sama-sama broadband dan spotlight makin terang!

Daripada dok terkumpul dalam hard disk laptop ni, elok CheMe kumpul semua gambar kahwin mereka dalam blog ni. Semalam masih ada masa dok gerodek Scrapblog untuk design semua gambar-gambar tu. And these are the outcomes:

When I was a teacher

Thanks to Facebook for the technology that make you have the photos being tagged by someone else. Since many of my friends in FB are my ex-students and they tagged me in their photos, it makes me reminisced all the fond memories when I was a teacher in SM Sains Tun Syed Sheh Shahabudin, Bukit Mertajam (1991 - 1998). Before this I was thinking of scanning those film-based photos, but thinking of the many lending small hands, so I just forget about it.


This is a staff photo taken in 1992. It was tagged by Sazali Kadir and I taught him Math when he was in Form 5 during that year.

Mostly every year, my students will celebrate my birthday. May be because the perfect 10 date made them easy to remember!!! This is the Form 5 set 2 class of 1996 students. I taught them Additional Math. Always rotan the students when they failed in their test.

End of the year was barbeque time. Time to please them back before they left school. Thanks to Huzaimi Muhammad for the two photos.

These are students of 1998's badge. The last year when I was in that school. What I can recall during this year was the 'Perkampungan Ilmu' that was lead my me. It was such a successful programme and I got to know later that it has become an annual event for Form Five students. Thanks to Ibrahim for this photo.

Aidil Adha 1429H

This year Aidil Adha was celebrated on the 8th December 2008. It was raining all the day and Cheme couldn't join the surau's member for the korban (saja buat alasan!).

We just celebrated at home since Cheme was still busy with his proposal.

Managed to cook the ketupat pulut and rendang. Here is what my ketupat looks like...

This is how it looks before boiling. They said that ketupat palas got gender too: 'jantan' or 'betina'. If you fold the daun palas with the pulut and it became 'betina', it shows that you are not good of folding the palas leaf. The one I made was 'jantan' type (terror la tu???). Do you wonder how does the 'betina' ketupat look like????

After 3 hours of boiling, ready to be served with the rendang cooked by Cheme's wife.

Cheme feels sorry for neglecting the backyard of the house.
This nyatuh sliding door is fading its colour due to the direct morning sunlight. And the surrounding looks bare too...















How about an awning on it?
Hmmm, looks better.
Touch-up a little bit more. Pakaikan hijab... add more protections. Wahlaaa, wonderful!!!

But all are hard elements around. Need to add the soft elements to make it more soothing.

Nanti la... bila ada budget .

At Last...

At last Cheme decided to blog. But what is Cheme going to write?

Hmmm... Cheme's blog will be of anything, from the daily activities to any thoughts that can be shared. One fine day Cheme will be smiling when Cheme reminisces it back!
